You are a wandering beekeeper, traveling hexes to various towns and festivals to sell honey and candles you have crafted, plus share your knowledge of bees. Along the way, you face challenges, meet interesting people, and gather stories to bring back home. Use the local currency of "shards" to improve your roaming honey wagon.


Materials Needed:

A notebook or journal

A deck of cards

A six-sided die (d6) and twenty-sided die (d20)

Tokens or coins to track your resources


Create your unique traveling beekeeper with many d20 tables

- Masculine Full Names

- Background

- Personality

- Prized Posession

- Goals


Each day consists of three phases: Travel, Trading, and Camp.


1 - Travel Phase

Roll on the travel tables to discover your hex. All these events take place in the same hex.

- Roll on Terrain

- Roll on Landmarks and Features

- Roll on Weather


As you travel, roll1d6

1-3: Roll on Wildlife Encounters

4-5: Roll on Travel Hazards and Events

6: Roll on Mystical and Rare Events


Deal with your prompt, and then you arrive at your destination (unless your last roll deems otherwise)

2 - Trading Phase


Roll 1d6 and draw that many card(s) from the deck to determine the day's events.

- Hearts (People): Meet someone interesting. They might be a customer, fellow traveler, or someone in need.

- Diamonds (Business): A chance to sell or trade.

- Clubs (Challenges): Face an obstacle: bad weather, spilled supplies, or a swarm escaping.

- Spades (Nature): Encounter nature: wildflowers, dangerous animals, or a tranquil moment.



3 - Camp Phase

At the end of the day, reflect on your journey and decide between:


Craft Candles: Use beeswax to craft up to 5 candles.

or

Craft Honey: Use up to 5 jars to create honey.

or

Tend the Bees: Roll on Tending table to see the outcome.

or

Rest: Recover from the day. If you faced a challenge earlier, use this phase to recover or repair.
